The Law Centre is currently seeking to recruit new trustees to join our management committee.
The management committee has ultimate legal responsibility for the Law Centre, and approves the budget and other strategic decisions concerning the direction of the Law Centre. Charity Commission guidance about the role of a trustee can be read here.
We would encourage applicants with a strong local connection to the North Kensington area, but we are open to all applications. We are also looking for trustees with particular skills, especially those relating to finance, IT and law.
If you are interested in joining our management committee then please email Annie Campbell at email@example.com, providing a short statement of your reasons why you would like to become a trustee at NKLC as well as a list of any relevant skills you may have.
We are also looking to recruit members to join the Law Centre. Members will be invited to attend the Law Centre’s Annual General Meeting, and can play a role in scrutinising the decisions of the management committee. Charity Commission guidance about the role of members can be read here. The members can also play a role in helping the Law Centre reach out to and engage with the community in North Kensington.
Applicants interested in becoming members of NKLC should email Annie Campbell at firstname.lastname@example.org with a short statement of the reasons why you would like to become a member.
